Grants funded by NCN for our three teams led by the ENGINE team members
We are happy to announce that three teams led by the ENGINE team members have received research grants funded by NCN (Polish National Science Centre) within the Opus 5 Competition. They are as follows:
1) leader: prof. Michał Woźniak, title: Compound data stream classification methods based on unsupervised and active learning, Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics
2) leader: prof. Przemysław Kazienko, title: Machine learning methods for complex networks, Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Management, in cooperation with two ENGINE invited professors: Reda Alhajj (Canada) and Boleslaw Szymanski (USA)
3) leader: prof. Adam Kasperski, title: Algorithms for robust discrete optimization, Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Management,
These three grants were among all 15 accepted submissions within the panel of computer science and informatics, whereas the acceptance rate in the panel was 27%.
