WT5.5 – Upgrade of Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory
Lider zadania: Janusz Sobecki, email@example.com
Human-Computer Interaction laboratory plans to extend the study on developing the methods of usability testing with the application of gaze-tracking devices. In this laboratory we are also going to conduct research on new forms of interaction, for example with mobile haptic devices, large interactive surfaces and speech recognition. The gaze controlled user interface, based on the eye-tracking devices in interactive environment will enable further studying. We also want to apply monitoring of user activities to gather information for user modelling that may be further used in the user interface adaptation. Our current activities are related to the proposed scope of research, but due to the dynamic change of the technology there is a need of modern and appropriate equipment that enables further research, and methodology development.
