Emotion recognition – a new ENGINE team
A new interdisciplinary research team working at ENGINE on emotion recognition (subfield of affective computing) has its first success. Their paper entitled “Emotion Recognition Using Wearables: A Systematic Literature Review – Work-in-progress” ( https://arxiv.org/abs/1912.10528 ) will be presented at Emotion Aware at the prestige conference PerCom – Pervasive Computing 2020 (ranking A*), Austin, TX, USA in March 2020. The team is led by prof. Przemysław Kazienko and dr. Stanisław Saganowski and consists of 4 master students, one PhD student, two Capgemini employees and collaborating scientists: prof. Adam Polaka (signal processing), prof. Rafał Zdunek (matrix factorization for signals), prof. Łukasz Kaczmarek, Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznan, (social psychologist), PhD student from AUM, PhD student from Jožef Stefan Institute (Slovenia).
